The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of GARNIC FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Copacabana AFC:s goal. In the 26th match minute, GARNIC FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Lauaxeta to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabricio Dodorol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. GARNIC FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copacabana AFC the free kick. GARNIC FC's Dalmacio Manex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Dodorol in the 86th minute of play. Luis Ceandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Manex having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabricio Dodorol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dalmacio Manex. That made the score 0-2 in the 89 minute of play. In the 95th minute, Fabricio Dodorol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmacio Manex was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The GARNIC FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Copacabana AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Copacabana AFC.
