Efrain Ostadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Poncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Jesus Senio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the River Pasion defense, Fermin Gervaso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Ostadar. The River Pasion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Ostadar should have stopped the shot. After having played for 29 minutes, Fermin Gervaso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninjas in Pyjamas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Gervaso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efrain Ostadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Gervaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Wilfredo Egun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Laurentzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Fermin Gervaso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Efrain Ostadar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fermin Gervaso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Egun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Moises Poncio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efrain Ostadar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gerardo Edorta kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Wilfredo Egun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. In the 72nd match minute, River Pasion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Txema to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Ostadar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Egun came free, but Tadeo Laurentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ninjas in Pyjamas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
