Jeronimo Poncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Montes having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Clodoveo Cucao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Montes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Balada Triste's Edgar Zăhărescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Venceslao in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Poncio in the 23rd minute of play forced Embarcación FC's goalkeeper Oscar Montes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Embarcación FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Poncio came free, but Oscar Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Rosendo Sidoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeronimo Poncio got in the 30th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Oscar Montes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeronimo Poncio in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Montes saved Embarcación FC from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Balada Triste's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Venceslao came free, but Edgar Zăhărescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Ignacio Dominix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Embarcación FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Poncio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Balada Triste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Porfirio to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Fausto Indalecio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Zăhărescu. Balada Triste's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Indalecio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Teobaldo Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balada Triste's Jeronimo Poncio got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Teobaldo Pueblo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Montes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Pueblo got free with Oscar Montes in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeronimo Poncio got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-3 in the right cross in the 77th match minute before Oscar Montes had time to react. Edgar Zăhărescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Indalecio in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Balada Triste got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Porfirio. Teobaldo Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Dominix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Zăhărescu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Balada Triste's Emiliano Porfirio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Ignacio Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Zăhărescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Embarcación FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Balada Triste were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
