UnionTate's Victorio Fidencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Rencio in the 9th minute of play. Victorio Fidencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixto Bernaldo in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Fernando Hibai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xema Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UnionTate the free kick. After a rather tough play, Xema Team's Fernando Hibai got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Edgard Vergaray came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the UnionTate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Vergaray couldn't finish the play. After having played for 20 minutes, Carlos Ospetsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UnionTate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Ospetsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Vergaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeo Alonso charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Alonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xema Team's Primitivo Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Ospetsu in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Hipolito Maties sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Primitivo Bernaldo skillfully saved the ball. Primitivo Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Aaron Rencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Victorio Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sixto Bernaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Fidencio having to interfere. Carlos Ospetsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Bernaldo having to interfere. Miguel Sanchez's late challenge caught a Xema Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Sanchez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, UnionTate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Sanchez to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Fidencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Rencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Rencio was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Aaron Rencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Victorio Fidencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Primitivo Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Vergaray in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Lehior during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Edgard Vergaray reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Primitivo Bernaldo. The goal made the score 1-1. 68 minutes into the match, Xema Team's goalkeeper Primitivo Bernaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Ospetsu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Ospetsu got free with Primitivo Bernaldo in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clodoveo Socorro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Xema Team's Bartolo Huly got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 88th minute Sixto Bernaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Fidencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Rencio in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorio Fidencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
