After a defensive mix-up in UnionTate's zone, Elpidio Savier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Fidencio came out of the goal and Elpidio Savier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Rivero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Victorio Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Avellaneda AFC's Ciro Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Ospetsu in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, UnionTate's Fernan Reyes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, UnionTate's goalkeeper Victorio Fidencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafin Rivero. Ciro Elixio came out of the goal and Edgard Vergaray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorio Fidencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Savier in the 68th minute of the match. Edgard Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avellaneda AFC's Elpidio Savier got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
