Spectators: 7196 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marco Ado kicked off to start the match. Iurie Tatomir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ciro Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was a penalty for Muñecas! Santo Montel walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ciro Elixio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Elpidio Savier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Ado in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Elixio saved Avellaneda AFC from getting behind. With a little luck, Muñecas's Sotero Menendez got control of the ball when Serafin Rivero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Avellaneda AFC's zone, Iurie Tatomir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Elixio came out of the goal and Iurie Tatomir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Ado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ciro Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Savier to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Ado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Ado got free with Ciro Elixio in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
