Spectators: 7138 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 10) Elpidio Savier started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Goren in the 3rd minute of play forced Avellaneda AFC's goalkeeper Ciro Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Goren in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Elixio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Avellaneda AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. German Naelio hit a great ball. Elias Horado, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Avellaneda AFC's Ciro Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Hustaz in the 8th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Avellaneda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Olayo. Ciro Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Hustaz in the 11th minute of play. If Efrain Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Efrain Hustaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Damaso Goren came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Palominos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Goren couldn't finish the play. Ciro Elixio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Hustaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avellaneda AFC's goalkeeper Ciro Elixio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Efrain Hustaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, one of Avellaneda AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Palominos a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elias Horado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Avellaneda AFC's Ciro Elixio. 0-1. Ciro Elixio came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Palominos's Damaso Goren. But to his dismay, Damaso Goren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Santiago Matia charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Matia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santiago Matia kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Serafin Rivero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. German Naelio charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Naelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Avellaneda AFC's German Naelio got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Avellaneda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Hustaz came free, but Ciro Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damaso Goren to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Damaso Goren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciro Elixio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Henry during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Palominos getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Aldo Henry hit a great ball. If Damaso Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Damaso Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Elixio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Avellaneda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Remicio to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Savier in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armağan Nurtac saved Palominos from getting behind. In the 71st minute Serafin Rivero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armağan Nurtac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game Damaso Goren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avellaneda AFC's Ciro Elixio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciro Elixio made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Efrain Hustaz sent off a good shot on target. Damaso Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ciro Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Palominos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Avellaneda AFC throughout the match.
