In the 38thth minute of the game Eulalio Ekialde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avellaneda AFC's Ciro Elixio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Freddd's Denis Roldanillo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Roldanillo in the 43rd minute of play. Jairo Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elpidio Savier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Avellaneda AFC's Isidoro Olayo got a free kick in the 58th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Astor Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freddd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Blanco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Denis Roldanillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Javier Tabby successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 78 played minutes Freddd got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Elazar. Javier Tabby was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Santo Montel. Miguel Loramendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Astor Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Miguel Loramendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Javier Tabby was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Elpidio Savier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elpidio Savier really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3.
