Primitivo Bernaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Amaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Bernaldo having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Froilan Canor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xema Team and the Carpintería players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Carpintería booed when Xema Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Canor didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Amaya made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Xema Team's Fernando Hibai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel Unax narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Juan Amaya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Primitivo Bernaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th match minute, Xema Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Gipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Xema Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aquilino Quintan was slow to take the kick. During this time Carpintería's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Aquilino Quintan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Xema Team's Primitivo Bernaldo did a great save. Juan Amaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The Xema Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Bernaldo should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Xema Team's Antonio Lehior got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Juan Amaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
