Julian Isadore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albano Iigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Agustin Blai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albano Iigo. Janta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Blai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Aurelio Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Hermelando in the 23rd minute of play. Albano Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Isadore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Janta FC's Benigno Urtun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Mingo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 30th minute Julian Isadore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Janta FC's Benigno Urtun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Mingo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Sengrat during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes estudiantes de la plata got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Sengrat. 38 minutes into the match, Janta FC's Maximiliano Hulberto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Benigno Urtun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but estudiantes de la plata's Aurelio Mingo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the match, Janta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Isadore came free, but Albano Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Silvanito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Janta FC's Albano Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Isadore in the 76th minute of play. If Julian Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julian Isadore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Albano Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in estudiantes de la plata's zone, Benigno Urtun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Mingo came out of the goal and Benigno Urtun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th match minute, estudiantes de la plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Ordono to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Hermelando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Justo Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot. estudiantes de la plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Cordario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Iigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. estudiantes de la plata were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
