Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arano AFC's Benito Urtsin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Godofredo Policarpio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malligasta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arano AFC the free kick. A collision led to Malligasta getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Godofredo Policarpio hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Dionisio Havier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Edgardo Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Manex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Malligasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Dolfo to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Havier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Ruy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Malligasta's goalkeeper Osvaldo Ruy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Havier. Arano AFC's Benito Manex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Etxepare in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Benito Urtsin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Urtsin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Ruy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Benito Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Osvaldo Ruy managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Arano AFC's Dionisio Havier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 40th minute Benito Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Havier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Ruy made a huge save. In the 44th match minute, Malligasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Dolfo to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Orlin to strike the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Havier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Havier in the 56th minute of play forced Malligasta's goalkeeper Osvaldo Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Malligasta's Hernan Dolfo got a free kick in the 64th minute. Osvaldo Ruy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionisio Havier's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Malligasta's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Urtsin came free, but Osvaldo Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Benito Urtsin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Ruy was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Dionisio Havier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Epifanio Raymon fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malligasta's protests and gave Epifanio Raymon a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes, Arano AFC's Eloy Cordarryl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Osvaldo Ruy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arano AFC reached it. Dionisio Havier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Hernan Dolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Dionisio Havier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dionisio Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Malligasta defense, Generoso Pello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Ruy. The Malligasta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Ruy should have stopped the shot. Fausto Etxepare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Raymon hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute of the match Eloy Cordarryl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldo Ruy skillfully saved the ball. Arano AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
