After a rather tough play, Alvariño AFC's Jorge Buinton got a free kick in the 11th minute. Wilfredo Checa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jacinto Iyan. Prudencio Loreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Wilfredo Checa made a huge save. A collision led to Alvariño AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ildefonso Lalla hit a great ball. Prudencio Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vodka Juniors's Inocencio Bonifaco got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vodka Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvariño AFC the free kick. After 37 played minutes Vodka Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Hotz. The supporters of Alvariño AFC booed when Vodka Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Thomas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrosio Nabar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, one of Alvariño AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Vodka Juniors's Jacinto Iyan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wilfredo Checa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 58 played minutes Alvariño AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Lalla. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Loreto in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Checa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prudencio Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel Jusepe's late challenge caught a Vodka Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Jusepe helped the player get up and apologised. 69 minutes into the game, one of Alvariño AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Vodka Juniors. Jacinto Iyan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wilfredo Checa. 2-0. In the 74th minute Prudencio Loreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Checa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Bonifaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Checa having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Prudencio Loreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Checa was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Alvariño AFC's Wilfredo Checa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Loreto in the 80th minute of play. Wilfredo Checa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Loreto in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Inocencio Bonifaco made a precise shot to the right of Wilfredo Checa. Alvariño AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Wilfredo Checa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Loreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Inocencio Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Wilfredo Checa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vodka Juniors walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
