When Bartolo Domenec came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Otero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Domenec couldn't finish the play. Uriel Tabor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Montxo having to interfere. Marcelo Semeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geronimo Silviano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Chale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Uriel Tabor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Otero FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Cisco. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Marcelo Semeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carranza's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Semeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Montxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Semeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Semeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmacio Montxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Semeno in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Silviano in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Chale saved Carranza from getting behind. In the 55th match minute, Carranza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Tabor to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Geronimo Silviano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Otero FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Bartolo Domenec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Chale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Silviano, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 2-0 became the score in the 70th minute when Geronimo Silviano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Geronimo Silviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Semeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Marcelo Semeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carranza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Semeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcelo Semeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
