Seguí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Milio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jon Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Bide in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Leonel Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon Gustavsson was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. If Fidel Ticho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pirámide FC's Jonas Cerilo got control of the ball when Bonifacio Incendio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Seguí's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Rolado came free, but Jon Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Fabricio Toli made a precise shot to the right of Jon Gustavsson. Seguí's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 41st minute, Carmelo Errapel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pirámide FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Incendio to strike the kick off in the second half. Seguí's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Javier Rolado scored to the left of an out of position Jon Gustavsson, making the score, 0-4. Jon Gustavsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leandro Dabi. If Fidel Ticho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Bonifacio Incendio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Rolado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jon Gustavsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Javier Rolado slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 70th minute. Jonas Cerilo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Seguí's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Rolado came free, but Jon Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Javier Rolado took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Jon Gustavsson to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th minute, Javier Rolado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jon Gustavsson. The goal made the score 0-8. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pirámide FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
