Eliseo Mantzio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Lorien's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Armando Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Marques in the 26th minute of play. Celso Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Feo having to interfere. Valentin Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Virgilio Chale notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Guanaco FC's Eliseo Mantzio. Eliseo Mantzio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Lorien in the 38th minute of play forced Guanaco FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Mantzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Urbano Haimar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Libertad FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Haimar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guanaco FC's zone, Domingo Lando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Mantzio came out of the goal and Domingo Lando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urbano Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Horacio Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Lorien made a kick off. Horacio Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Eliseo Mantzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Guanaco FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Benicio Raymon hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Libertad FC's Virgilio Chale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliseo Mantzio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Teo Ieltxu fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guanaco FC's protests and gave Teo Ieltxu a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Guanaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Ieltxu. In the 73rd minute, Virgilio Chale fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eliseo Mantzio, passed just outside the right post. Urbano Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Mantzio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Enrique Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libertad FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Millano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Mantzio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Mantzio made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Horacio Lorien sent off a good shot on target. Libertad FC were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Guanaco FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carmelo Baladi took the corner. The corner ended in Carmelo Baladi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guanaco FC's Eliseo Mantzio did a great save. 83 minutes into the match, Guanaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Lorien came free, but Eliseo Mantzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Marques in the 93rd minute of play forced Libertad FC's goalkeeper Armando Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Guanaco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Libertad FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
