Urraca's Ciriaco Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Austin in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Emilio Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urraca's Ciriaco Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Austin in the 20th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Atenas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Urraca:s goal. Emilio Vito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Francisco Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Austin in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Gonzales got free with Anacleto Otsoa in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 46 played minutes Urraca got a freekick which was hit by Damian Iliana. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Amador Orlo fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urraca's protests and gave Amador Orlo a yellow card for diving instead. Amador Orlo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ciriaco Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Austin in the 55th minute of play. Francisco Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ciriaco Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Austin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Osoro having to interfere. Emilio Vito scored 1-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciriaco Osoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Damaso Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urraca's Ciriaco Osoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Urraca from getting a goal against them. Anacleto Otsoa came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Urraca's Leonides Tino. But to his dismay, Leonides Tino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 87th minute, Francisco Austin made a precise shot to the right of Ciriaco Osoro. Urraca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Saturnino Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Otsoa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Francisco Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atenas's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Austin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Osoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciriaco Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Vito in the 96th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
