Artemio Sadurni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Estevon in the 13th minute of the match. When Hermengildo Gaskon came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the CATTA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Gaskon couldn't finish the play. La Tetera's Artemio Sadurni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Omero in the 16th minute of play. Artemio Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Sengrat in the 17th minute of play. Artemio Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Estevon in the 19th minute of play. Eleuterio Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Sadurni having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, La Tetera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Chabier to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Sadurni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Estevon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Gustavo Ralondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Tetera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CATTA FC the free kick. A collision led to La Tetera getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. CATTA FC's Hermengildo Gaskon got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eleuterio Estevon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvestre Sengrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eleuterio Estevon to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, La Tetera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eleuterio Estevon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Hermengildo Gaskon managed to get in a good position for a shot. CATTA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Gaskon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Sadurni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, CATTA FC's Eleuterio Estevon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artemio Sadurni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, La Tetera's Maximiliano Illart got a free kick in the 58th minute. Hermengildo Gaskon struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Artemio Sadurni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CATTA FC. The crowd rose to their feet as CATTA FC's Silvestre Sengrat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Artemio Sadurni. That made the score 1-3 after 61 minutes of play. Eleuterio Estevon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eleuterio Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Hermengildo Gaskon managed to get in a good position for a shot. CATTA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Gaskon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Sadurni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artemio Sadurni made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Dante Omero sent off a good shot on target. Dante Omeros short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Artemio Sadurni to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 81st play minutes Eleuterio Estevon shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Artemio Sadurni and just under the crossbar into goal. Artemio Sadurni came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by CATTA FC's Dante Omero. But to his dismay, Dante Omero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Epifanio Stanislao kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, La Tetera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Illan to maneuver through the defense. A murmur of surprise went through the audience when CATTA FC's Faustino Medina after having done a couple of nice dribblings in the 92nd minute of the game fired away a shot to his disappointment passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in La Tetera's zone, Hermengildo Gaskon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Sadurni came out of the goal and Hermengildo Gaskon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over CATTA FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Tetera throughout the match.
