Fabian Quinteros shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Elpidio Enol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmacio Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Egun in the 27th minute of the match. Elpidio Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Egun in the 29th minute of play. Urbano Chaime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Bernasconi AFC's goalkeeper Urbano Chaime had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmacio Jaunti. In the 37th minute, Estrugamou FC's Elpidio Enol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, Bernasconi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Enol came free, but Urbano Chaime reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Armando Bartuelo in the 41st minute really tested Urbano Chaime's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Estevez to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Enol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbano Chaime was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 57th match minute, Estrugamou FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Banegas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Egun got free with Elpidio Amato in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dalmacio Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bernasconi AFC's zone, Dalmacio Jaunti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Chaime came out of the goal and Dalmacio Jaunti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes Bernasconi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Joachim. When Sergio Egun came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bernasconi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Egun couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Estevez in the 76th minute of play forced Estrugamou FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Amato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Enol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmacio Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Estrugamou FC defense, Sergio Egun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Amato. The Estrugamou FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Amato should have stopped the shot. Elpidio Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Egun in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Estrugamou FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Estevez came free, but Elpidio Amato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lino Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpidio Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Estevez in the 95th minute of the match. Lino Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Amato having to interfere. Bernasconi AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
