In the 11thth minute of the game Abel de Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Totoral AFC's Victoriano Suero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 16 played minutes, 25 de mayo's Anselmo Cutberto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victoriano Suero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 25 de mayo reached it. Abel de Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Victoriano Suero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 25 de mayo. In the 20th minute Celestino Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Suero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Totoral AFC defense, Abel de Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Suero. The Totoral AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Suero should have stopped the shot. After having played for 28 minutes, Feliberto Jurgi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 25 de mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Jurgi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Totoral AFC defense, Abel de Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Suero. The Totoral AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Suero should have stopped the shot. Victoriano Suero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Anselmo Cutberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victoriano Suero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abel de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Celestino Rico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victoriano Suero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacinto Gartzea to strike the kick off in the second half. Abel de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Suero having to interfere. Jacinto Gartzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Edgard Damario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nunez Gora kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, 25 de mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Gartzea came free, but Edgard Damario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Damario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Sabin in the 93rd minute of play. When the match was over 25 de mayo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Totoral AFC throughout the match.
