Severino Mendebal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radu Arieșan in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustacio Gergori stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 60 minutes of play, Chimuelo FC's Eustacio Gergori made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Mendebal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Everardo Calvino during the 63rd minute. In the 94th minute Filomeno Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Mendebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Chimuelo FC were the better team. Chimuelo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
