Spectators: 7081 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 18) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Celedonio Gau kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute Francisco Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Clementi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Loren's late challenge caught a C.A. Fenix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Loren helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Arribeños FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Patricio Loren hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Arribeños FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Gau came free, but Blas Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Patricio Loren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 14 minutes had been played. Patricio Loren hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Blas Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Gau, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Gualterio Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rdth minute of the game Celedonio Gau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arribeños FC's Blas Ruy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Celedonio Gau dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Blas Ruy, 1-0. In the 30th minute, Fulgencio Romelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Ruy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Gau in the 35th minute of the match. 2-0 became the score in the 43rd minute when Celedonio Gau elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Segundo Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Elija made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Francisco Elija managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arribeños FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Elija was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Clementi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gualterio Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Ruy having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Arribeños FC's Francisco Elija got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Arribeños FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Francisco Elija hit a great ball. Celedonio Gau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Ruy having to interfere. Gualterio Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Arribeños FC defense, Celedonio Gau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blas Ruy. The Arribeños FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blas Ruy should have stopped the shot. Segundo Lorencio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Celedonio Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Blas Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Celedonio Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Elija in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Clementi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celedonio Gau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Blas Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Omero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Elija might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severino Clementi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Elija ran back to his position shaking his head. Arribeños FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
