Spectators: 7072 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 18) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Celedonio Gau kicked off to start the match. C.A. Fenix's Celedonio Gau suffered a concussion after 2 minutes and had to leave the field. 2 minutes into the game, Cayetano Urbes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balcozna AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Fenix the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Balcozna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Urbes to maneuver through the defense. Balcozna AFC's Melquiades Mazuste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Balcozna AFC from getting a goal against them. C.A. Fenix's Severino Clementi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Cesaro in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Conrado Paulin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balcozna AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Paulin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gualterio Omero hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Gualterio Omero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Alvarez, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 27 minutes into the match, C.A. Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Cesaro came free, but Severino Clementi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Melquiades Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balcozna AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Godfredo Gentza 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When Bernabe Santiago fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balcozna AFC's protests and gave Bernabe Santiago a yellow card for diving instead. Bernabe Santiago got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 37th match minute, Balcozna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Santiago to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Paulin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Paulin made a kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. Fenix's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Agustin Roldanillo was slow to take the kick. During this time Balcozna AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Balcozna AFC's Agustin Roldanillo to fire away a dangerous shot which Severino Clementi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 58th minute, Conrado Paulin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Clementi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Melquiades Mazuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Omero in the 63rd minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Ruben Kaxen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Fenix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balcozna AFC the free kick. In the 68th match minute, C.A. Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Kaxen to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Conrado Paulin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A. Fenix's Severino Clementi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Fenix from getting a goal against them. If Gualterio Omero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, one of Balcozna AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Balcozna AFC. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
