Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 5) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Uriel Cesaro kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Balcozna AFC's Gonzalo Cai got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Emiliano Cordera sped through Balcozna AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melquiades Mazuste. In the 9th minute Nicasio Quin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mazuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Conrao made a great header on Palermo FC's corner, it was just that Balcozna AFC's Melquiades Mazuste managed to reach the ball for a save. 14 minutes into the match, Palermo FC's goalkeeper Remigio Toro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Paulin. After a rather tough play, Palermo FC's Nicasio Quin got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Uriel Cesaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balcozna AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Cesaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Conrao's late challenge caught a Balcozna AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Conrao helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palermo FC! In the 33rd minute, Conrado Paulin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nicasio Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Quin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicasio Quin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Melquiades Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicasio Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Balcozna AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Santiago. Emiliano Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

51 minutes into the match, Balcozna AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Cordera came free, but Melquiades Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Cordera got free with Melquiades Mazuste in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melquiades Mazuste was a little too slow when Nicasio Quin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-2. When Uriel Cesaro came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Balcozna AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Cesaro couldn't finish the play. Palermo FC's Emiliano Cordera got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melquiades Mazuste had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Nicasio Quin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Emiliano Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Nicasio Quin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Melquiades Mazuste. Nicasio Quin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. If Uriel Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Mazuste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Cordera in the 85th minute. When Emiliano Cordera came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Palermo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Cordera couldn't finish the play. Palermo FC's Nicasio Quin got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, Palermo FC's Emiliano Cordera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Mazuste made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Palermo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
