Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Luzuriaga FC's Benjamin Mero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Luzuriaga FC's Tomás Ursino in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arsenal FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 4thth minute of the game Benjamin Mero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal FC's David Gustau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Eusebio Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Arsenal FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eusebio Ixidor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 16th minute, Simone Vergassola fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 21st minute Nemesio Mateus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Txomin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match Arsenal FC got a corner. Luzuriaga FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artemio Lluciano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arsenal FC's Artemio Lluciano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pablo Txomin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nicanor Behe hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Simone Vergassola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Mero in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Gustau saved Arsenal FC from getting behind. David Gustau came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Luzuriaga FC's Simone Vergassola. But to his dismay, Simone Vergassola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Nicanor Behe got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 34 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Maria during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Diego Maria hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Benjamin Mero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Simone Vergassola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luzuriaga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simone Vergassola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simone Vergassola got free with David Gustau in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 45 minutes, Benjamin Mero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luzuriaga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Mero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Mero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. David Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Maria was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Benjamin Mero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Maria hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Luzuriaga FC's Candido Vitin got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Simone Vergassola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenal FC's David Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Mero in the 61st minute of play. Diego Maria kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Mateus to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Mero in the 70th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper David Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Garikoitz's late challenge caught a Luzuriaga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Garikoitz helped the player get up and apologised. 76 minutes into the game, one of Arsenal FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Luzuriaga FC a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Candido Vitin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arsenal FC's David Gustau. 4-0. Celestino Checa struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. David Gustau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luzuriaga FC. Gilberto Policarpio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Gustau having to interfere. David Gustau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Ixidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Eusebio Ixidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simone Vergassola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was beautiful to see Arsenal FC's Nemesio Mateus in action when he in the 95th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Luzuriaga FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
