The tension between the Isveridificul FC and the Lonquimay players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Isveridificul FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ciro Socorro hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvestre Olivar in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Chaime saved Isveridificul FC from getting behind. Lonquimay's Ricardo Dantae got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lonquimay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Henric was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the game, Isveridificul FC's Claudio Henric nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Cordarell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Lonquimay's zone, Nemesio Cordarrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Cordarell came out of the goal and Nemesio Cordarrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ricardo Dantae came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Lonquimay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Dantae couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Dantae blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Chaime having to make a save. Lonquimay's Amador Edwardo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Benito Chaime but with some difficulty. Nicanor Elazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Benito Chaime made a huge save. Nemesio Cordarrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lino Cordarell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Lonquimay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Lonquimay may have spent more time on the ball, but Isveridificul FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
