Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 10) When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ricardo Dantae sped through Paranay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leon Bibiano. Dante Peter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Cordarell having to interfere. Ricardo Dantae struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Leon Bibiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lonquimay. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge Txerran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lino Cordarell. That made the score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. Dante Peter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Lino Cordarell made a huge save. Leon Bibiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Dantae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lonquimay fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Lonquimay's Ricardo Dantae looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ricardo Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Dantae struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Dantae's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Bibiano was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Lonquimay's Guillermo Amaya pulled a muscle in his back after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 38 minutes into the game, Eloy Quilo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Ricardo Dantae made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Dantae in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Bibiano saved Paranay from getting behind. Lino Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Peter in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Jorge Txerran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eloy Quilo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. Fernando Donostia's late challenge caught a Paranay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Donostia helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Lonquimay got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Donostia. 84 minutes into the match, Paranay's Aldo Pancho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ricardo Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Dante Peter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paranay's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Peter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Cordarell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
