Benjamin Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Asur having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Hykarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Fonso to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Hykarios's Natalio Havier got control of the ball when Ruben Vincent tried to sneak it across the goal line. Braulio Asur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Fonso in the 14th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Alegría Polo Team defense, Cecilio Porfiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braulio Asur. The Alegría Polo Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Asur should have stopped the shot. Cecilio Porfiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-2 became the score in the 24th minute when Benjamin Tauro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Natalio Havier made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Ruben Vincent sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Evelio Ospetsu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Natalio Havier, 1-2. Cecilio Porfiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Braulio Asur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cecilio Porfiro to strike the kick off in the second half. If Benjamin Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Barea hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Benjamin Tauro scored 1-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Braulio Asur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Vincent in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natalio Havier saved Hykarios from getting behind. In the 64th minute Ruben Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Havier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ruben Vincent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natalio Havier was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alegría Polo Team's goalkeeper Braulio Asur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Braulio Asur managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Hykarios's Benjamin Tauro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 76 minutes into the game, Cecilio Porfiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Braulio Asur. Cecilio Porfiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Hykarios's Natalio Havier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Ospetsu in the 82nd minute of play. Hykarios's Cecilio Porfiro got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Evelio Ospetsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alegría Polo Team's Evelio Ospetsu in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hykarios's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hykarios eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
