Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardo Dantae kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes Paranay got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Quilo. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Dante Peter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paranay's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Peter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Cordarell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Dantae was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Leon Bibiano stood somewhat misplaced when Ricardo Dantae came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. When Nereo Txindoki fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paranay's protests and gave Nereo Txindoki a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Paranay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lonquimay:s goal. After 23 played minutes, Lonquimay's Fernando Donostia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leon Bibiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lonquimay reached it. If Jorge Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Monico charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basilio Monico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Paranay's Basilio Monico got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Ricardo Dantae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lonquimay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Dantae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Jorge Txerran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Paranay's zone, Ricardo Dantae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Bibiano came out of the goal and Ricardo Dantae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo Amaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Txerran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Guillermo Amaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Ricardo Dantae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Jorge Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Ricardo Dantae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lonquimay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Ricardo Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Amaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Leon Bibiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Lonquimay were the better team. Lonquimay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
