Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Manantiales's Angelino Gau started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Nalo in the 23rd minute of play forced La banda River Plate's goalkeeper Ladislao Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Mannie in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manantiales's goalkeeper Emilio Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Benicio Mannie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 played minutes La banda River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Jeraldo. With a little luck, Manantiales's Emilio Torres got control of the ball when Benicio Mannie tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benicio Mannie made a kick off. La banda River Plate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Rexino in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Rexino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emilio Torres quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Samuel Ourente charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Ourente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Manantiales got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Nalo. After having played for 83 minutes, Benicio Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La banda River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Mannie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Mannie, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Benicio Mannie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Torres. Manantiales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benicio Mannie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 95th match minute, La banda River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Jeraldo to maneuver through the defense. La banda River Plate were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Manantiales for a fine match.
