Eliseo Abilio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Erramu having to make a save. 17 minutes into the game, Bartolo Nofre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soitué's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G.E.R F.C the free kick. A collision led to Soitué getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bartolo Nofre hit a great ball. G.E.R F.C were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Soitué's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domingo Damario might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Gonzalez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domingo Damario ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Soitué getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Baldomero Solustiano hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Clemente Navarro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soitué fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, G.E.R F.C's Gervasio Argenis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Gonzalez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Generoso Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Soitué's zone, Domingo Damario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Gonzalez came out of the goal and Domingo Damario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The G.E.R F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Soitué's performance. The match ended with a win for Soitué.
