The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the game, Haroldo Jeraldo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jesus Fernandes. Haroldo Jeraldo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Belgrano's zone, Feliciano Palos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Fernandes came out of the goal and Feliciano Palos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Quico's late challenge caught a Gallinazo Dream Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Quico helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gallinazo Dream Team booed when Club Atletico Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Quico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Paloss short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Jesus Fernandes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jesus Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Feliciano Palos sent off a good shot on target. After 32 minutes of play, Club Atletico Belgrano's Filiberto Oihan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Constancio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th match minute, Gallinazo Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Jeraldo to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the game, Raul Fraco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Belgrano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gallinazo Dream Team the free kick. Raul Fraco kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Palos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Ladio in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Belgrano's goalkeeper Jesus Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Belgrano's Casimiro Ganix got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Palos in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Fernandes saved Club Atletico Belgrano from getting behind. When Gallinazo Dream Team's Feliciano Palos in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico Belgrano's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Feliciano Palos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Fernandes was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Belgrano's Casimiro Ganix got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Feliciano Palos came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Gallinazo Dream Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Palos couldn't finish the play. Jesus Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Jeraldo in the 68th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Ganix during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Belgrano's Humberto Llin got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Feliciano Palos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Fernandes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 78th match minute, Club Atletico Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Ganix to maneuver through the defense. The Gallinazo Dream Team fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Gallinazo Dream Team's Feliciano Palos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 89 minutes of play, Gallinazo Dream Team's Feliciano Palos made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carmelo Mikolas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gallinazo Dream Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carmelo Mikolas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 98 played minutes Gallinazo Dream Team got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Mikolas. Gallinazo Dream Team's Paulo Constancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Pasqual in the 100th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Gallinazo Dream Team players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
