Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Reynaldo Martxel got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute, Reynaldo Martxel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arequito AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Martxel in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Orti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Arequito AFC defense, Eulalio Virila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Abaunza. The Arequito AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Abaunza should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute Albino Uhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Andrea notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Palmar's Domingos Orti. Domingos Orti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Arequito AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Saturnino Lobo hit a great ball. Domingos Orti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Mikeldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute Albino Uhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palmar's Tiburcio Etxatxu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Arequito AFC's Conrado Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Uhin in the 56th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Albino Uhin notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Arequito AFC's Conrado Abaunza. Conrado Abaunza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reynaldo Martxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cyril Villeret recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Palmar's goalkeeper Domingos Orti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyril Villeret. Eulalio Virila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrado Abaunza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Conrado Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Uhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Reynaldo Martxel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Domingos Orti made a huge save. Conrado Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Virila in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Arequito AFC's zone, Eulalio Virila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Abaunza came out of the goal and Eulalio Virila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 84 minutes on the clock, Valentin Rudolfo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 83rd minute, one of Palmar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palmar. In the 93rd minute of the game Bartolo Elorri made a throw-in which Andres Mikeldi played forward. 95 minutes into the match, Palmar's goal looked a bit too open when Cyril Villeret came free, but Domingos Orti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Andrea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Domingos Orti came out and tried to block the shot, but Osvaldo Andrea slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 96th minute. Arequito AFC played a much better game than Palmar and deserved their victory. The Palmar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
