Nereo Isias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gualterio Poncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquilino Bernard hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Mauricio Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tipal AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Ponciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Lonzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Albano Saturnin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tipal AFC's Gualterio Poncio. Gualterio Poncio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aquilino Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Mauricio Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tipal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Ponciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquilino Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Lonzo having to interfere. If Mauricio Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tipal AFC booed when Atlánticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Uhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Saturnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Atlánticos's Albano Saturnin in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquilino Bernard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Atlánticos defense, Aquilino Bernard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximiliano Lonzo. The Atlánticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximiliano Lonzo should have stopped the shot. Maximiliano Lonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Ponciano in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atlánticos's Lucio Pacorro got a free kick in the 58th minute. Aquilino Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Lonzo having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Tipal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Saturnin came free, but Gualterio Poncio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Poncio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albano Saturnin's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Nereo Isias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Poncio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Aquilino Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Lonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Uhin charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Uhin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atlánticos's Lino Uhin got a free kick in the 67th minute. Lino Uhin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Aquilino Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Lonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Ponciano in the 76th minute of play. Jeremias Nesor took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Poncio. Gualterio Poncio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Atlánticos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
