Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Genaro Ticho made the kick off and thus started the match. Hernan Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Jakobe having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Florencio Mercurio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falckner's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Providencia AFC the free kick. Florencio Mercurio kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Falckner's goalkeeper Fernando Jakobe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hernan Checa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 played minutes Providencia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Otsando. In the 20th minute of the match Laco Torra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltasar Iraitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Genaro Ticho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Providencia AFC's Genaro Ticho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernando Jakobe. Fernando Jakobe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hernan Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Iraitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Alvaro Mino hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The supporters of Providencia AFC booed when Falckner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Hartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Falckner got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Mikelats. In the 61st minute, Flavio Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falckner's Fernando Jakobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Checa in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Falckner's Flavio Abreu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Isidoro Hartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Baltasar Iraitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match, Angelino Iratzeder got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baltasar Iraitz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Baltasar Iraitz came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Falckner's Flavio Abreu. But to his dismay, Flavio Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 83 minutes into the match, Falckner's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Ticho came free, but Fernando Jakobe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falckner's Fernando Jakobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Ticho in the 85th minute of play. Benito Oriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fernando Jakobe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Hernan Checa made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Jakobe. Falckner's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Hernan Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Providencia AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
