With a little luck, Changos 's Nunez Vincent got control of the ball when Gustavo Cuartas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio Paul succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 15th playminute. Nunez Vincent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Urdaspal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Changos 's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Cuartas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Nunez Vincent was a little too slow when Gustavo Cuartas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 5-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cláudio Paul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 7-2 became the score in the 61st minute when Cláudio Paul elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Changos FC booed when Changos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Roldan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edelmiro Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Changos 's Nunez Vincent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Paul in the 67th minute of play. With a little luck, Changos FC's Jonas Donzel got control of the ball when Joaquin Rutenio tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Changos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
