After 19 minutes, Pablo Paio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alhuampa and the Caseros AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Alhuampa got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Paio. After 21 played minutes Alhuampa got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Idacio. Geronimo Tabb kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Pablo Paio came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Alhuampa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Paio couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Naelio kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Jacob in the 52nd minute of play forced Alhuampa's goalkeeper Celedonio Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd match minute, Alhuampa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Egoitz to maneuver through the defense. Jimeno Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Firme having to interfere. Geronimo Tabb kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Alhuampa booed when Caseros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Tabb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Argina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Ezequiel Pelagius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ceferino Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Firme having to interfere. Ceferino Firman struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Celedonio Firme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caseros AFC. If Donato Argina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 80th minute when Marcial Izel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ezequiel Pelagius made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Donato Argina sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Caseros AFC's Serafin Frechoso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Serafin Frechoso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Caseros AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Serafin Frechoso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Donato Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alhuampa's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Argina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Pelagius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
