After some careless play in the Changos defense, Isidoro Hartz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Vincent. The Changos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Vincent should have stopped the shot. Angelino Iratzeder struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Nunez Vincent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falckner. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Changos 's goalkeeper Nunez Vincent, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelino Iratzeder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nunez Vincent having to make a save. When Angelino Iratzeder came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Falckner fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Iratzeder couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute Isidoro Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Vincent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Vincent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Hartz in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Falckner were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Hartz was the one to do the kick off.
