Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcial Izel started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Marcial Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celedonio Firme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Ticho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Providencia AFC's Hernan Checa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celedonio Firme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Hernan Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Firme having to interfere. Genaro Ticho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celedonio Firme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Donato Argina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Providencia AFC's Baltasar Iraitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute Genaro Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Firme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alhuampa's zone, Genaro Ticho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Firme came out of the goal and Genaro Ticho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Genaro Ticho was the one to do the kick off. Alhuampa's Celedonio Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Checa in the 51st minute of play. Genaro Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hernan Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Oriol in the 68th minute of play forced Alhuampa's goalkeeper Celedonio Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernabe Jerrald during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernabe Jerrald kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Marcial Izel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Alhuampa's Donato Argina got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Baltasar Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Izel in the 92nd minute of play. Augusto Egoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genaro Ticho might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celedonio Firme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genaro Ticho ran back to his position shaking his head. Providencia AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
