Narciso Ciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aureliano Diegotxe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Ciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Eztebe went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, LA CANDELARIA's Teodosio Cresconio got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Abel Fagondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. When Teodosio Cresconio fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA CANDELARIA's protests and gave Teodosio Cresconio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LA CANDELARIA's Teodosio Cresconio got a free kick in the 38th minute. Anier Txilar charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Txilar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Siján's Narciso Ciano got control of the ball when Valentin Aimar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Valentin Aimar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Aimar in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Ciano prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

In the 55th minute, Abel Fagondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Fabricio Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Ponciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Valentin Aimar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Narciso Ciano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the game, Timoteo Clis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Siján's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA CANDELARIA the free kick. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Siján! 78 minutes into the match, Fabricio Mundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Ciano. Siján's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabricio Mundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a rather tough play, LA CANDELARIA's Valentin Aimar got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Anier Txilar came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Siján fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Txilar couldn't finish the play. After 91 played minutes LA CANDELARIA got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Norino. After a defensive mix-up in LA CANDELARIA's zone, Aaron Unai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Urdaspal came out of the goal and Aaron Unai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LA CANDELARIA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
