After a rather tough play, Saucecito AFC's Amadeo Poz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Teofilo Gervaso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saucecito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Gervaso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amado Videl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Roderigo having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Teofilo Gervaso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Urdaspal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Valentin Aimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Eztebe took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Roderigo. Fidel Roderigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fabricio Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Roderigo having to interfere. The supporters of Saucecito AFC booed when LA CANDELARIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Videl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Aimar in the 41st minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of LA CANDELARIA booed when Saucecito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Jurdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute of the match, Fabricio Mundo sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Fidel Roderigo showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. In the 55th minute Tiburcio Admon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Roderigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernan Ponciano went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Federico Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Jurdan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Nereo Norino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Valentin Aimar made a precise shot to the right of Fidel Roderigo. Saucecito AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Fabricio Mundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Roderigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Fidel Roderigo came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by LA CANDELARIA's Valentin Aimar. But to his dismay, Valentin Aimar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. LA CANDELARIA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
