If David Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arturo Eneto came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Zanjón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Eneto couldn't finish the play. After 24 played minutes Zanjón got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Eneto. Robustiano Bonifaco scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Ignatius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Arsenio Diegotxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Bonifaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Ignatius having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes in the game Nicanor Frascuelo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Elias Liberto. Julian Jenaro's late challenge caught a Zanjón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Jenaro helped the player get up and apologised. Julian Jenaro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, David Cugat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Millonario's supporters rose to their feet, but David Cugat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Batista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Nemesio Huly had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Ignatius. Deportivo Millonario's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Huly was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Dante Ignatius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Diegotxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Deportivo Millonario's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Diegotxe came free, but Dante Ignatius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Nemesio Huly was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zanjón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Millonario the free kick. Nemesio Huly kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Zanjón players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
