Spectators: 6671 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Deportivo Baigorria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Tomsons didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Nastasio came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Valencia C.F.'s Vinicio Gitano. But to his dismay, Vinicio Gitano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 19th minute, Constantino Paublo made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Nastasio. Deportivo Baigorria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to Valencia C.F. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Epifanio Sugar hit a great ball. With a little luck, Deportivo Baigorria's Cristian Nastasio got control of the ball when Vinicio Gitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 25 played minutes Deportivo Baigorria got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Tomsons. In the 29th minute Epifanio Sugar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Nastasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Tomsons hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Evaristo Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Enaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Nastasio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Nastasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Cristian Nastasio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cristian Nastasio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Gitano in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Sugar in the 43rd minute of play forced Deportivo Baigorria's goalkeeper Cristian Nastasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florentino Richie made a kick off. Cristian Nastasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Gitano in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Celso Osmundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Nastasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Deportivo Baigorria's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Calvet came free, but Cristian Nastasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Florentino Richie rounded Valencia C.F.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. 87 minutes into the match, Deportivo Baigorria's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Gitano came free, but Cristian Nastasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ulises Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Lucian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Calvet hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Vicente Benitez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Richie's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Valencia C.F. fully deserved thier win.
