Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lázaro Gaztea kicked off to start the match. Lázaro Gaztea took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patric Sellberg. Patric Sellberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, la locomotora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Gaztea came free, but Patric Sellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Sellberg having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Teo Leguizamón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Larsenal's Alonzo Barrionuevo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Aaron Montay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lázaro Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Gaztea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Patric Sellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to la locomotora FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Enrique Min hit a great ball. When Teo Leguizamón came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the la locomotora FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Leguizamón couldn't finish the play. Lázaro Gaztea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patric Sellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Gaztea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Leguizamón in the 43rd minute of play forced Deportivo Larsenal's goalkeeper Alonzo Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ricardo Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot. la locomotora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Palban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Barrionuevo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Palban received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alonzo Barrionuevo came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardo Palban slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Leguizamón to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Lázaro Gaztea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Larsenal's supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Gaztea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patric Sellberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th match minute, la locomotora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Haimar to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Atarratze in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, la locomotora FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Higinio Astudillo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Higinio Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Barrionuevo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teo Leguizamón went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Augusto Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Beltxe hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Alonzo Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Leguizamón, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Lázaro Gaztea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. la locomotora FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Deportivo Larsenal for a fine match.
