That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. 18 minutes into the match, Tomás Tartalo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cecilio Flores, 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Palomitas's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Tartalo came free, but Cecilio Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mateo Galsino fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palomitas's protests and gave Mateo Galsino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Capioví FC booed when Palomitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Galsino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Erubiel Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palomitas's Ismael Muno got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Palomitas's Cecilio Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Tartalo in the 52nd minute of play. Cecilio Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Tartalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Palomitas's goalkeeper Cecilio Flores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Errolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Muno, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 89th minute, Mateo Galsino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Muno took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Errolan. Jonathan Errolan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.
