The penalty shot was made by Dionisio Garcia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Niupi FC's Alejo Mederi. 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Zeledon Gizon notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Niupi FC's Alejo Mederi. Alejo Mederi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvaro Vellito hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Abel Gonchan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Gizon in the 19th minute of play forced Niupi FC's goalkeeper Alejo Mederi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niupi FC's Alejo Mederi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Marko in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Gizon in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Mederi saved Niupi FC from getting behind. A collision led to Gasoducto getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mateo Furman hit a great ball. Alejo Mederi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Acosta in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match Angel Haritzeder sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Mederi skillfully saved the ball. In the 46th minute, Higinio Acosta made a precise shot to the right of Alejo Mederi. Niupi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Niupi FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gasoducto were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Vellito was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Niupi FC's zone, Zeledon Gizon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Mederi came out of the goal and Zeledon Gizon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gasoducto's Paúl Breitner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Resto in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Gizon in the 66th minute of play forced Niupi FC's goalkeeper Alejo Mederi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Resto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Paúl Breitner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Niupi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Ioritz to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higinio Acosta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Alejo Mederi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 93 played minutes Gasoducto got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Gaueko. Gasoducto played a much better game than Niupi FC and deserved their victory. The Niupi FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
