Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Covello FC's Gaspar Ignazio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Covello FC's Lisandro Calvet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Gizon in the 4th minute of play. Higinio Acosta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 7th match minute, Covello FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Tavio to maneuver through the defense. Higinio Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lisandro Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Ignazio in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paúl Breitner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Higinio Acosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paúl Breitner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Jacob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Gizon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Gizon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Lisandro Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mateo Furman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Calvet made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Higinio Acosta sent off a good shot on target. Covello FC's Lisandro Calvet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Covello FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Covello FC's Federico Tavio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Higinio Acosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Higinio Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Calvet having to interfere. Lisandro Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Gizon in the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Gizon in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro Calvet saved Covello FC from getting behind. Higinio Acosta scored 1-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lisandro Calvet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Covello FC booed when Gasoducto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Marko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Marko kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Gasoducto's Higinio Acosta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lisandro Calvet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Siro Jacob kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paúl Breitner. That made the score 2-1 in the 82 minute of play. Higinio Acosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute of the match, Gaspar Ignazio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paúl Breitner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
