The supporters of Arteaga booed when Tobatirenda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobatirenda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Luix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Agustin Olo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Federico Luix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tobatirenda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Luix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Txatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustin Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Edorta having to interfere. Federico Luix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes Tobatirenda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Odon. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Luix to strike the kick off in the second half. Federico Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Epifanio Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Arteaga. Arteaga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tobatirenda AFC the free kick. Mauricio Celipe kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Aquilino Rexino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anier Laurgain kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jeremias Neto hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Arteaga got a corner. Tobatirenda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anier Laurgain ran over to the corner to take the kick.
