Spectators: 6791 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eustaquio Pedroso kicked off to start the match. Laureano Resto hit a great ball. In the 14th minute of the match Roberto Llorienzo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Mederi skillfully saved the ball. After 19 minutes, Albano Foro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arteaga and the Niupi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albano Foro hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Agustin Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arteaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Olo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustin Olo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustin Olo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Alejo Mederi made a huge save. Alejo Mederi made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Agustin Olo sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Mauricio Celipe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arteaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Celipe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Mederi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Albano Foro got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 55 played minutes Arteaga got a freekick which was hit by Albano Foro. Agustin Olo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alejo Mederi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Resto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Txatxu having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, Arteaga's Agustin Olo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejo Mederi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Niupi FC's Abel Gonchan got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Arteaga's Cleto Elequemedo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Alejo Mederi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Olo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Niupi FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Laffitte. Arteaga's Agustin Olo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niupi FC's Alejo Mederi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Celipe in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Agustin Olo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejo Mederi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Agustin Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Mederi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Niupi FC's zone, Agustin Olo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Mederi came out of the goal and Agustin Olo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arteaga's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
