After some careless play in the Libertadores de S.C defense, Bernardo Lucila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Martxot. The Libertadores de S.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Martxot should have stopped the shot. If Francisco Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute of the match Jeronimo Quintun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celestino Martxot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Libertadores de S.C's Ramon Ferrer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Ponce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Joaquin Ponce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Ferrer in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, NEUQUÉN ATL's Lázaro Gaxan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celestino Martxot. Celestino Martxot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Bernardo Lucila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Martxot having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Bernardo Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot. NEUQUÉN ATL's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Lucila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Martxot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 played minutes Libertadores de S.C got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Ilixo. Bernardo Lucila in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celestino Martxot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 30th minute, Libertadores de S.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernardo Lucila fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatan Damario during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonatan Damario kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Joaquin Ponce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Vidal in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Lázaro Gaxan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NEUQUÉN ATL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Vidal to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lázaro Gaxan in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celestino Martxot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Ilixo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Mariano Carlomagno charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Carlomagno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Libertadores de S.C booed when NEUQUÉN ATL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Carlomagno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Ponce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Ilixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Ponce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Mariano Carlomagno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Joaquin Ponce managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Libertadores de S.C's Ramon Ferrer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Donato Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libertadores de S.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Ponce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santos Dorio's late challenge caught a NEUQUÉN ATL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Dorio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Libertadores de S.C getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Santos Dorio hit a great ball. Bernardo Lucila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Lázaro Gaxan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Martxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celestino Martxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Vidal in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Ponce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramon Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Joaquin Ponce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
