After a defensive mix-up in Tobatirenda AFC's zone, Mauricio Policarpio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Edorta came out of the goal and Mauricio Policarpio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mauricio Policarpio fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gallinas's protests and gave Mauricio Policarpio a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Gallinas got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Policarpio. 23 minutes into the match, Tobatirenda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Policarpio came free, but Primitivo Edorta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Luix charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Luix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Tobatirenda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Luix to maneuver through the defense. If Mauricio Policarpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 31 played minutes Gallinas got a freekick which was hit by Anier Noe. Jeremias Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Anier Noe scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Primitivo Edorta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Mauricio Policarpio made the kick off in the second half. Genaro Xacintu charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genaro Xacintu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Genaro Xacintu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Anier Noe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobatirenda AFC's Primitivo Edorta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Tobatirenda AFC from getting a goal against them. Dalmacio Ignado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genaro Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Primitivo Edorta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Policarpio in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tobatirenda AFC's Godofredo Mendiko got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Gallinas getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Anier Noe hit a great ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Aquilino Rexino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gallinas's Amador Teyo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauricio Policarpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Primitivo Edorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Santiago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Primitivo Edorta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Anier Noe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Edorta having to interfere. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tobatirenda AFC's goalkeeper Primitivo Edorta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Tobatirenda AFC's Primitivo Edorta got control of the ball when Anier Noe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Genaro Xacintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genaro Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Edorta having to interfere. When Mauricio Policarpio came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Gallinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Policarpio couldn't finish the play. Genaro Xacintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Primitivo Edorta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genaro Xacintu ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Gallinas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tobatirenda AFC.
